Method 2: The "Classic" Method (String or Paper)
Don't have a ring handy? No problem. You can measure your finger using simple household items.
What you need:
A thin piece of string (or a strip of paper).
A ruler (showing millimeters).
A pen or marker.
The Steps:
Step 1- Wrap: Wrap the string (or paper) around the base of the desired finger.
Tip: Make sure it can slide comfortably over your knuckle (the thickest part of the finger).
Step 2- Mark: Use the pen to mark the exact point where the string overlaps/closes the circle.
Step 3- Measure: Remove the string, straighten it out, and measure the length from the end to your mark using the ruler (in millimeters).
Step 4- Convert: Use the Size Chart below to convert your length (Circumference) into a ring size.

Pro Tips for Accuracy
Measuring your finger is an art. To ensure the ring fits comfortably (not too loose, not too tight), keep these rules in mind:
1. Temperature Matters Finger size changes depending on the weather and your body temperature.
Don't measure when you are very cold (fingers shrink).
Don't measure immediately after exercising or drinking a lot of water (fingers swell).
Do measure at room temperature when you are relaxed.
2. The "Knuckle" Rule The ring needs to fit over your knuckle but not be too loose at the base. If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between.
3. When in Doubt, Size Up If your measurement falls between two sizes, it is always safer to choose the larger size. A slightly loose ring is comfortable; a tight ring is unwearable.
4. Left vs. Right Please note: Your fingers on your left hand are not identical to your right hand. Measure the specific finger on the specific hand where you plan to wear the ring.
5. The Professional Option If you want to be 100% sure, nothing beats a professional measurement. You can visit any local jeweler or goldsmith for a quick sizing.
