Our Ethical Commitment | Sourcing & Transparency

Beauty with a Conscience. At Dina Jewelry, we believe that true beauty begins with integrity. We are committed to ensuring that every diamond, gemstone, and gram of gold we offer meets the highest social, ethical, and environmental standards.

1. Conflict-Free Sourcing

Our rigorous sourcing procedures ensure that every item offered by Dina Jewelry is produced in accordance with strict ethical standards.

The Kimberley Process: We require all our suppliers to operate in strict accordance with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS). This ensures that every diamond we set is sourced from conflict-free regions and does not finance violence or human rights abuses.

Responsible Jewellery Council: As registered members, our membership serves as a testament to our integrity regarding the supply chain of every diamond, gemstone, and pearl.

2. Gold Quality

We believe in jewelry that lasts forever.

Solid Gold Only: Our jewelry is crafted exclusively from solid 14k or 18k gold.

No Plating: We do not use gold plating, gold vermeil, or gold-filled materials.

3. Natural vs. Lab-Grown

Our Standard: Unless specifically requested otherwise, all diamonds and gemstones in our collections are 100% natural and earth-mined. We do not use synthetic or CVD stones in our standard inventory.

Custom Requests: We respect our clients' preferences. If a customer specifically requests Lab-Grown Diamonds for a custom piece, we are happy to source high-quality lab-created stones upon request.

4. Defining "Salt & Pepper" Diamonds

We specialize in the unique. It is important to understand what you are buying when you choose a "Salt & Pepper" diamond.

The Definition: "Salt & Pepper" is an industry term used to describe natural diamonds heavily included with black and white carbon spots.

The Aesthetic: These diamonds may feature internal feathers, surface-reaching inclusions, or dark spots. These are not flaws; they are the stone's fingerprint.

Uniqueness: Every Salt & Pepper diamond is one-of-a-kind. It is precisely these "imperfections" that give the stone its depth, texture, and galaxy-like appearance.

5. Transparency on Gemstone Treatments

In the jewelry industry, certain natural stones undergo standard enhancements to maximize their beauty. At Dina Jewelry, we believe in full disclosure:

Black Diamonds: These are natural diamonds that often undergo Heat Treatment or irradiation to achieve a uniform, opaque black color.

Sapphires & Rubies: It is a standard industry practice for Blue Sapphires and Red Rubies to undergo Heat Treatment to enhance their color saturation. These are certified as natural stones.

Emeralds: Natural Emeralds almost always contain internal fractures. It is standard practice to use Oil Treatment to improve their clarity and transparency.

Maintenance: These treatments are stable, but special care should be taken (especially with Emeralds) to avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.

Errors and Omissions Excepted (E&OE). This policy is subject to updates.
