Eitan & Rachel | Two Families, One Ring

Two Families, One Ring. When Eitan first came to the studio, he had a clear vision: he wanted to propose to Rachel, but not with an off-the-shelf ring. He wanted both of their families to be part of it. He brought in an old ring from his father and a ring from Rachel's grandmother, both set with white diamonds and vibrant red rubies, and both holding immense sentimental value. Rather than leaving them sitting in a drawer, the plan was to take those heirloom stones and bring them together in one fresh, modern design that still honors the heritage of both sides.

From Sketch to Reality. Over the following weeks, Eitan was part of every step of the design process: paper sketches, refinements to the sketch, and getting every small measurement just right. But as he said the moment he opened the box and saw the finished ring, seeing a design on paper or on a screen is one thing, and holding the real thing in your hand is something else entirely.

At the center of the ring sits an oval natural diamond that gives it brightness and presence, flanked by the family diamonds and ruby accents, in a delicate profile that sits beautifully on the hand. And beneath the base of the setting, right where it touches the finger, hides a tiny Star of David, an intimate touch of tradition and meaning that only the two of them know about.

The Proposal in the Fields. Once the ring was ready, Eitan took Rachel for an afternoon drive and stopped by open cotton fields, just before sunset. Surrounded by white cotton and golden evening light, he pulled her in to dance, took out the ring and asked her to marry him. Seeing the history of both families resting together on her hand was what made the moment complete.

Mazal tov, Eitan and Rachel! It was an honor to be part of your story.
